A 8 x 8 card blank Embossed with Creative Expressions Rambling Blossoms folder, The large butterfly is a Tonic Die which my friend cut for me.I put a double sided sticky sheet on the back ,put gilding flakes on & rubbed them well in.i matted that piece onto a darker pink card from my stash,& then  a white matt.
Cut a couple of Finishing touches Magical Butterfly's designed by Sue Wilson.
I then stamped the flowers in Versafine ink pads one in Imperial purple & one in satin red from Heartfelt Creations Arianna Blooms & cut them out with the matching die
placed them all onto base card, with two curled vines & pearl embellishments.

The inside i stamped the saying from Stampendous. cut it out with The Stockholm die,& cut the outer die in the pink card  matted them together cut a small butterfly to finish the card
Hope you like it. Thank you for looking at my blog.
If you are just passing through that's fine but would love you to leave me a comment

  1. Ooh Lynda, butterflies, luv them. How big is that centre one, I love it. I think I would have left the 2 other butterflies off but that's just me, no ultrasound, Tony works in orthopaedics and even the surgeons can't rush it, its has to go to the consultant radiologist and they haven't had it back from him with a date.
    Am struggling to sleep.
Hope you are keeping warm, its freezing. Hugs Theresa (TOB) xx

    1. Hi Margaret,
Thank you for your kind words,as you know I'm a butterfly freak, just love them so I tend to add more & Sue's magical ones are lovely.
Yes it was lovely for Sam to ask me to do Harry's invits,i had in my mind to use the striplet di for them, but then Sam sent me a picture of what she wanted,so it's just stamping & ribbon & bow. In a way it's saved me a lot of die cutting. Sam was very pleased with My sample one ,she said it was it exactly like the one she liked.
Hope Ben is better now & how is school now,has he had any more trouble with the teacher

    2. Hi Lynda
Thanks so much for asking about Ben, yes he is all better thanks to the antibiotics, since the new year the teacher appears to have turned over a new leaf but Ben is still very wary of her, but I have spoken to her twice and she has been rather friendly. Yesterday the class went out for the day to walk around Buttermere lake which for 8 year olds is a long way he said it was good fun but thought his legs were going to give up. This morning when Lisa woke him up he said he needed the day in bed and could not open his eyes they were too tired! When I took him into school all his class were very quiet, some were sitting with their eyes closed! He is hoping for more snow, we are getting heavy snow showers but at the moment it is not staying.

I wish I could have a good sleep too & feel like I had rested.i was prescribe with Amitriptline about 10 years ago to help me sleep with the arthritis pain in my neck & spine, which is now getting worse & now it's in my hands & feet. Enough of that as there is so many of you on Sue's blog that are so much worse than me.
Congratulations to your son passing his driving test & hope finds a car he likes. It's hard when your children drive for the first time us mum's do worry about them,I did with both my Daughter & Son, I was so relieved when they used to get home.i don't think we ever stop worrying about them even though mine are 44 & 38.

  6. Hi Lynda,
I missed this card yesterday as we went on a coach trip to Bolton (up North) with my lovely aunt and uncle...we always have a good laugh together and the Lancashire people are always so friendly and chatty. It was Clive's first full day out since he had been poorly so he did well especially as us girls wanted to do so much shopping.
Anyway your card is gorgeous and you know me I'm a 'butterfly girl'...I love them and that big one is a stunner!
Hope Terry's check up went well yesterday.

  7. Hi Lynda. Oh Sheila, if only.. You could have popped in for coffee as I live in Bolton and barbiepinkfairy flew by too. Next time maybe ??
Ok Lynda, Ive always said im truthful and wouldn't make someone 'feel happy' just for the sake of it and I hope people would be perfectly honest with me too, not for me today hon. I adore butterflies on cards, but id either leave the centre one on and take the smaller one's off or visa versa, remove the smaller one's leaving the big one as my focal point. The rest of the card is beautiful, but I understand why you're not too sure. Ive just emailed someone with a picture of a card asking them to be brutally honest before its sent to a Wilsonette friend as there is something about it Im not to sure about on the one Ive just made.
If Ive offended you in any way Im SO sorry Lynda it wasnt meant to hurt your feelings.
Theresa, cant you call your gp practice asking if he can shivvy them up with your appointment. If these people suffered as we do Im sure they wouldn't appreciate the long wait, and after that you still have a 10 - 14 day wait for the gp to get the report from the consultant radiologist ! Its crazy. I use to be a secretary to a Consultant Radiologist before becoming an office manager in the ultra sound department and all out - patient reports were the last to be tped up !!
    Hope something happens soon Theresa.
    Hugs to all.
Lancashire Steph xx sorry Lynda xx

  8. Hi Steph,
Don't be silly I'm not at all offended I appreciate
Your honesty,Terry said I went over the top with it too. But once they were stuck they had to stay. Don't be sorry that's why I asked for everyones opinion. Hug's Lynda xx

  9. Hi Lynda,
I'm late today! Traffic lights got stuck on red both ways so people were going nowhere!
Today's card may just have a butterfly too many for me! I love butterflies . I left a comment on Sandra's blog today as I made a card yesterday which I'm not happy about. It's funny isn't it we kind of feel it and you said you weren't sure about today's card. I'm with Steph on being honest and you know I hope that I wouldn't want to cause offence.
If I pin my card on my Pinterest will you tell me where I've gone wrong?
    Deal?!
Hope you not too tired after your busy day. I've got visitors tomorrow for dinner so no crafting for me tonight!
    Lots of love ,

As I said to Steph I not at all affended, that's why I said I wasn't sure about it even Terry said I had over done it,but i had stuck them on so they had to stay. I would rather everyone say if they like or not. I'm not curled up on the floor sobbing haha.

  11. Lynda, I am late commenting, but I couldn't see your card, ipad playing up I was only getting the wee blue square in the middle. Anyway I am with Steph, to many butterflies. I can see your card in my mind with just the big one or the two little ones and it would be perfect. Saying that I have a couple of cards that after all the work I have done on them I take a photo of it then look at it again and think " no way ". I often send a photo of a card to Patricia's ipad and ask her what she thinks and she will tell me if its ok or not. Lynda have you ever tried taking Calcium and magnesium for your arthritis ??? I take it. Do you not only get pain but do you get like tingling? I took amitriptyline for ages, then Anna's piano teacher told me about the calcium and magnesium, within 2 weeks I noticed the difference I have never looked back, and because I took them when I had my chemo I didn't get the numbness and tingling that comes from strong chemo. Just thought I'd mention it, as it means no drugs. Hazel x

  12. Hi Hazel,
Thanks for your comment, seems everyone is saying the same two many butterflys the large one is a new Tonic die that my friend cut for me but I liked the other one I put on a day or so ago that was better.
I do get the tingling in my hands feet & legs,I get this tightness in my feet tooThe doctor gave me calcium & vitamin D I take two a day chewable tablets, about 5months ago as he said X-ray showed hi density in my bones beging to fuse. So I will see if I can get some magnesium on it's own from the chemists Thank you for the info Hazel.

Yes that sound better it would make it pop out at you more. I hope you don't think I said that just because my card was criticised. I wouldn't do that, & hope your not affended.

  15. Good morning Lynda, I just popped in to see if you had posted a card. I hope you haven't got down with myself a a couple of others saying we thought less butterflies would be better. I only felt you had a beautiful card that would be more beautiful without so many butterflies. Patricia will often tell me to take things off a card or put an extra bit on, like a bow but I am not into bows on my cards that much, love using Sues die ones. Bows are for on my gifts, have enough ribbon to start a ribbon shop nearly. Any way I will pop back later to see a stunning card, Hazel x

  16. Good morning Hazel,
of course i'm not upset it would take more than a few of you saying about too many butterfly's. i had a busy day yesterday, & by the time we got home i didn't do much after dinner i was tired.I did say myself i wasn't sure about it & Terry said i had over done it too,so i don't mind you say what you think about any of my card's i post. No one has offended me in any way.Hazel.
I am posting a card now using some of the left over bit's.
