Weather not too bad here in Nth Wales it's cloudy and drizzly hubby says it doesn't feel as icey cold as it has been....probably because we're on the coast.

Hi Sheila,

Terry said my head is getting bigger with all the good comments I'm getting on my cards lol.Unfortunately no time for crafting. She came home with me for dinner.
I did get some goodies as he also did a bit crafting not as much as Margaret we sorted the spare room he had lot's of double sided tapes, some card two paper cutters Marther Stewart punches plus other bit's,asked if I wanted it all as she was going to bin the lot,so I claimed it.I won't need to buy any D/ S tape for at leased a year.
It's been very cold today but no white stuff yet.

Hi Lynda,
ReplyDeleteI really love this one! Mind you the Lyra die is one of my favourites and I love how you've offset the two colours. Lovely bow as well and the whole card just looks right! Love the inside too.
Made two cards yesterday and prepped some some work for Kids. Need to make a welcome to new home card and an engagement one! Still thinking! Bet you can hear the wheels turning in Kent!
Damp, miserable day here today and cold!
Keep warm. Enjoy your time with your friend! Where on earth did he store all those clothes!

Hiya Lynda. Gorgeous. The colour's, dies, the design, everything about it is beautiful. I inherited a lot of those cut die and fold dies last year, Ive had a little play with 1 set, but with my finger's I found it really fiddley, not tried any of the other's yet. This is going to sound really stupid, but when the cut and fold dies are cut out is it like straight forward, like you can see which way they fold or whatever ? Sounds daft doesn't it, and is it best to use patterned on both sides card/paper to get the right effect ?
ReplyDeleteWell, time to crack on with dinner and look forward to checking in tomorrow. I may just make a card tomorrow... Oh blimey : 0 I HAVE to, its Mr L's birthday on the 24th !!!
Have a relaxing evening.
Stay warm.

Hi Lynda, The composition on this card is fabulous. You know the lyra is a favourite of mine. I love the way you have used the scrap for your frame. I have 1 set of cut, fold and tuck dies which Emma brought me back from Vancouver but I haven't used them yet. Gorgeous colour on the ribbon.
ReplyDeleteShoulder is not great so am struggling at the moment and feeling a little down with it.
Anyway, hope you have had a good day and have a good night. Warm hugs
