My second post today Ben's card

Avery good morning Ladies. I would like to thank each & everyone for leaving such wonderful comment's for me  through 2014 & your continuing comment's you are  leaving in 2015 They mean so much to me
A big Thank you Lynda xx

This card i made for Margaret corgi owner's lovely grandson Ben.
Like my grandson he like's Harry Potter
I started with an A5 base card embossed it with
Sue Wilson's KNOTTED TRELLIS FOLDER
BY CREATIVE EXPRESSIONS
I downloaded two Harry Potter pictures from the web & printed them out. I cut two piece's of cardboard & glued  the picture's over the top.
Die cut some letters. Then glued the pictures onto mt base card, assembled the letter's down & across
the card cut out a tag from Sue's corner border tag set & but BEN across the middle ,.
IN the middle i printed the verse from computer, cut it out with the
S/W TIMES SQUARE OUTER DIE FROM THE NEW YORK COLLECTION & cut a second out of the soft gold to match the letter's,glued the gold on an angle then the verse on top overlapping.
Margaret said Ben loved it.What do you think i would love to know it would be great to get your comment's as i love reading them..
Thank you for stopping by my blog today love Lynda xx

  1. Hi Lynda

This would have been a fab card for Anthea's son, he is a Harry Potter enthusiast. He wanted Harry Potter PC games from us this year. He was soo chuffed.

Oh how I wish I could go to Asda and put a super cool Harry in sun glasses into my trolley. What an absolute cutie.

  5. Hi Lynda,
Harry is just too cute! The glasses make him even cuter! Is that a word?
Lovely card - so hard to make cards for young ones who don't have a particular interest. I've got a 90th birthday card to make for a man for next week! Think it will be Sue's dies a big 90 and a butterfly or three! Lol!
    Hope you are both well,
    Love Myra xx

    1. Hi Myra,
Thank you for your kind words.Harry looks so cute in his glasses can't believe he kept them on,the red ones the shop owner gave them to him & Asked for a photo with him wearing them, then he put it on his phone as a screensaver.
Not easy doing cards for young boys but Ben loved it. Your discrimination of the 90 card sound lovely can't go wrong with a few butterfly's.

  7. Hi Lynda
Sorry to be a little late I am chasing my tail again trying to keep up, where does the time go!
As you know Ben was more than pleased with his card he was over the moon and all his friends at school were green with envy, one little boy came to me and said 'Will your friend send me a card when it is my birthday?' Before I could reply Ben told him Nanna's friend lives a long way away I have told you no she cannot send you special card! As we went to the car Ben said to me Matthew's
name wouldn't fit in the label either, Kids!
Many thanks once again Lynda it made him so happy..
Oh that little Grandson of yours is such a delight with that happy smile and he looks to have grown too. I can see when he is older he will be breaking a few hearts when all the girls are wanting him for a boyfriend especially with that super smile and no mistake! It really makes my day to see that smile of his.
    With love
    Margaret xx

I don't how I've miss this card or the great pictures of Harry....but better late than never. I love the Harry Potter themed idea and the way you have done it ...Ben must have been over the moon with it. And now for the gorgeous Harry, he is just so cute Lynda and he looks such a contented baby and growing by the minute......aaaw just adorable. Thanks for sharing your wonderful photos of Harry they brighten up a gloomy day and put a smile on my face.
