  8. Happy Saturday to all. How did I miss this work of art ? I have this justrite stamp its so beautiful, but my nerves wouldnt stand guilding it lol. Talking of guilding, Sue added some guilded flowers on her card sometime ago, she'd guilded a piece of card then cutit, I gave it a try a while ago and thought it felt a little sticky even though all the flake and glitter glue was covered with flakes, it still felt sticky, has anyone else found that ?
I cant thank you enough for your help with the cut and fold, I found some pretty patterned paper, recut one of the dies and it turned out a treat and would look so pretty on a tag with one of Sue's smaller daisy dies in the centre, yet again you have sent my imagination in over drive. So if anyone does have questions no matter how stupid you think it is, ask, its helped me no end : )

    Have a good day.

    1. Thank you Steph for your lovely comments.
Steph when I use gilding flacks just on a card for cutting out flower's or butterflys,I use double sided sticky sheets on the card then put the flakes on so then it's not sticky. ( sorry I can hear you shaking with sticky sheets & flakes flying about ) Hope this help's. I personally don't like flake & gliter glue.
      Really pleased your C F T die' s are being loved now.:0))
      Enjoy your weekend.Hug's Lynda xx

  9. Hi Lynda,
I am a bit late on this lovely card! It is beautiful - love the gilded flowers! I , too , have that stamp and I love it and the sentiments that came with it!
Steph - I haven't tried gilding then cutting so can't help you, sorry! I did love those flowers that Sue made though.
Can anyone help me with a set of sentiment stamps - just straightforward but a good size? It's hard to decide on size online as sizes can be deceiving. Thank you.
Have a lovely weekend Lynda and everyone.

    2. Myra, I can reckon amend "www.stampingallday". They are very helpful and have great choice of different stamps, I asked if they could make me a stamp with the bride and grooms names and date of their wedding to fit in a heart, gave the size of the heart, I sent e-mail at 8.15am 10mins later I had an e-mail saying they would work on it and let me know. I had the answer e-mail with a draft of what the stamp would look like and size by 11.15am. Lovely girl/women named Nicky who owns the company answered and replied. She even let me know I had made a mistake, or did I change my mind to the size, made me another stamp that I order last night.e-mail this morning saying they will be posted Monday first thing. Worth a look. Hazel x

  12. Hiya Myra.
Phil Martin has some lovely stamps, not sure if they are what you are looking for, I bought some milestone birthday stamps in a sheet starting at 16 I think through to 100 ! Smashing size, lovely fonts, but I think personally can be quite expensive, he has a large range of stamps for different occassions etc. One thing I noticed when I opened the packaging was the strong, pungent smell coming off them, urgh its SO strong, maybe the acrylic that stinks. I dont think you could go far wrong with any of the brands we all love... CE, Justrite etc I also have a CE set of sentiment stamps and they stamp well too. Hope Ive been of some help.
