FIRE & ICE

Hello my crafty friends thank you for stopping by to look at my blog & my new card
i hope you like it.I would love you to leave me a comment as love reading them.

Today's card is a fire & ice one
I cut the AUSTRIAN BACKGROUND BY SUE WILSON
Once cut i put a double sided sticky sheet on the front
i pealed the backing off from the back & put ON SOME
COSMIC SHIMMER GILDING FLAKES AUTUMN LEAVES
once  all rubbed in i took the sticky sheet off the front & put
COSMIC SHIMMER ICE SNOW & rubbed it in well.
i glued it to my 8X8 base card which i had embossed with the
CREATIVE EXPRESSIONS SNOWFLAKE LATTICE BY SUE W.
I used the waist piece from the CORDOBA BACKGROUND DIE BY S.W
USED IT AS A FRAME.
I then covered a piece of card with a sticky sheet & gilded it with the same flakes
i then cut out the SUE WILSON'S POINSETTIAS CLASSIC DIE & THE JOY DIE
So it all tied in. THEN I CUT THE SUE WILSON ANGEL IN WHITE PEARL CARD
& PLACED HER ON THE FRONT.I put the poinsettia's together & glued onto the bottom of card added a flat back pearl in center, with some leaves.THEM PLACED THE JOY DOWN THE SIDE.
Added some close up shots.& finished the inside.
Thank you all love & Hugs Lynda xxxx

  6. Lynda, I did comment on your beautiful card yesterday on my phone, but when I went to publish it I was asked to sign in on my account did that three times each time it told me I had the wrong password, which it wasn't so gave up, then forgot to redo it from my iPad. Your card is lovely with all your design work. I have all the stuff to do the fire and ice but since doing it with Sue in aberdeen I haven't even opened the jars. I can't believe its Friday again!! Last day of school for the two weeks, so when I am working it will be full days again. Take care. Hazel x

  7. Hi Lynda, what can I say, but amazing. You are SO brave I start to shake even thinking about all that can go wrong when I even look at my sticky sheet and guilding flakes... I hear them laughing at me from my craft wardrobe ! I tried it without the flakes but with midnight snow Tuesday. Used the vintage gold with the narrowest black border I could do (which was mega narrow) and cut the background showing the black card through the background, thinking the MS would add just that finishing touch to my male card reached for the pot... I wish id not as it was a disaster, it doesn't cover like our beloved iced snow and there were SO many gaps I had to start all over again !!! What a waste of card and MS! It looks great blinging up a dogs nose though... Customer wanted a card to her husby from the dogs and as I have an old Kanban dog stamp with Christmas hat I used that and blinged its nose up LOL but I was litterally covered with tiny black bling and it sticks to you like glue !!! So I admire your talant so much.
Have a great Friday. Im so behind with everything, my family and few friends may end up with shop bought ! : ( see whats what after market this Sunday !
Cant wait to see your next card.
    Hugs.

    1. Hi Steph thank you so much for your lovely comments they mean a lot I really
      Appreciate them.
I know what you mean about the MS Last time I used it was for the first time it's totally different from Ice snow. Well I opend the pot it slipped out of my hand always dropping things, it went all over me & covered ANNIE ( 4 paws ) & the floor,I didn't know there was so much glitter in such a small pot,I took forever to get it all out oft Annie. So your not on your own Steph my Hands can be so stupid sometimes. Really hope you get all your market cards, boxes ext done for Sunday & you sell loads you deserve it with all your hard work.
      Big Hugs Lynda xxI
