Hi a new Christmas card hope you like it & thank you for dropping in

I started with a 8x8 base card embossed it with Sue Wilson's FROSTY SWIRLS  folder
i cut the S/W ITALIAN background covered a piece of red card with double sided sticky sheet
removed backing & covered with COSMIC SHIMMER GLITTER JEWELS CRYSTAL CHIPS
Glued the background to the glittered card. Then i cut S/W CORDOBA DIE but only used the
outside waist piece to use as a frame for my background.i then matted it onto a piece of red card
glued it to my base card. Cut S/W FILIGREE POINSETTIA in white pearl card
then cut the CLASSIC POINSETTIA from red card & layered the up. I glued it to the middle
of my background with some white TULLE & S/W HOLLY SPRAY'S added a pearl string.
i added a small FILIGREE POINSETTIA to the top with some red swirls wit one in middle.
cut S/W JOY DIE from white pearl card then again from red card glued them together but off set them& put down side or card

Printed a verse cut S/W DECORATIVE FRAME SET B in the second size then cut the largest size in red card matted together added a small poinsettia.
hope that all made sense & Thank you for looking at my card love Lynda xx

  1. Hi Lynda
Hope you don't mind me popping in I was over on Sue's blog and clicked on your photo and saw you had a blog so thought I would pop across.
Your cards are so beautiful especially todays. I love the background die and it's one of my favourites. Love the poinsettias too and the way you have placed the Joy die down the side. I don't have a blog but all my cards are on photobucket but I don't know how to put a link up.
    Your grandson is adorable.

    Love Sheila xx

  3. Hi Lynda
Really there is no need to thank me as what I say is true your cards are really beautiful.
Poor little Annie the sea air must do her good, bless her, yes at present Tomas and Amy are keeping clean. We do have lots of fields near us and they do have stock in so it is not unknown for them to have a roll in cow muck! I have a picture of them I will send you honestly when Derek got home with them it was dripping of Tomas it took us over an hour to get them clean.
Can I please ask you a question as you are so good with computers, what are these circles you can be asked to join or set up? Is there somewhere on line that will explain it all to someone that is rubbish with computers I just cannot find anything and it is not for the want of looking. I keep trying to leave a post on Sue's blog and it keeps disappearing but I think that may be due to the fact that we need a new battery (which is ordered at the local computer shop) as a message came up to say it needed replaced and after that although I leave a message it just ups and goes without coming up on her blog but hey ho we shall see when we get the new battery in the laptop if it makes a difference.
Sorry to go on I will leave you in peace sweetheart take care.
    With love
    Margaret xx

  4. Lynda. Just seen that you had posted a beautiful card on Tuesday. Having big problems with blogger . Love how you have used your dies and created this card. Your beach walked sounded lovely, we have to limit our beach walks with Harris , as he had a bit of a fit while there due to he doesn't know when to stop running around, vet told us to keep him on his lead, but he has gone to the beach since he was a puppy and off the lead( always came when called, he only 7 ) but we know he just wouldn't understand. So we take him for a quick 10mins if we are going to St. Andrews for other things, but I do miss it. Hazel xx

    1. Thank you Hazel for your positive comment.Poor Harris he must wonder why he can't come off his lead & run on the beach. Annie is 12 now she has a mad run when we get on the beach, but some time's we have to walk back to Broadstairs up top if tide is in & Terry has to give her a carry for a bit she would rather be on beach, Bambi she is only 2 & 1/2 she can run & walk for ever.
Thanks again Hazel love Lynda xx

  5. Hi Lynda,
Only me again! I love your card. Sue's Poinsettias dies are beautiful and I love using them. I like too how you used the joy die. I often think it would be lovely if we could all get together and share ideas. I am so useless when it comes to technology but I will at least try to keep in touch using your blog if that's ok. Keep up the good work!
Have enjoyed Sue's shows today although haven't seen the morning ones as was at the dentist! At least I've still got my teeth.
    Take care,
    Love Myra xx

  7. Lynda, it would have been lovely if you had been able to make it to the NEC. But you are right it is all costs, you are so lucky to live near enough to go to Ally Pally, as it's the one show Patricia and I really want to go to. We are still trying to justifie the cost. Hazel x

  8. Hi Hazel ,yes it's about a 2 hour run for me to A P so not too bad .As I'm a pensioner, the NEC is a bit too expensive. I hope you & Patricia enjoy it does Sue ever demo there ?.You cards are lovely Hazel Hugs Lynda xx ps I will try & get some new cards on tomorrow xx
