Good morning ladies, the sun is shinning hear today but very cold. I'm home alone as Terry
has gone over too my son's to help him,Darren has started knocking his bathroom out yesterday
Omg he sent me pictures, he making it bigger & doing it all himself,so Terry is going to take all the rubble to the tip for him. Unfortunately i have to stay home as looking after a dog for the day.
:0(( no Harry cuddles.) Well just checked on F B last night & Sam (Harry's mum) put two pictures on
with two pipes & a two big howls in the front room ceiling.her 14 year old daughter & her friend who stayed over, well in her bedroom there is a box that's screwed down that houses pipe's.She got a screw driver undone this box her & her friend climbed in it & collapsed the pipes through the ceiling. My son went berserk as you can imagine, luckily the pipes apparently just extension pipes.
Anyway my card
I matted onto a 8x8 white scalloped card base matted with foundation card in Heather
then a piece of blush foundation cared embossed that with Creative Expression Rambling blossom folder designed by S/W.& matted onto the heather card
The background i used Sue Wilson's Striped weaving die cut out of foundation card Heather cut two & weaved them together. I cut a frame from Deep plum foundation card with the Classic Adorned Rectangle die from the Noble set by S/W added foam tape to the back put it over the background.
stamped my sentiment cut out with the third die from the decorative frame set B. cut a Bitty bow in the deep plum then cut a few Cornflower die's again designed by S/W added them to the bottom with a piece of cream tulle added embellishment's.I made two stick pins.
the inside stamped a verse onto blush card cut out with again third die from decorative set B.cut the sanfrancisco put two cornflower on the sides.
Hope you like my card please leave me a comment & let me know what you think.
Thank you all for stopping by my blog love & Hug's Lynda xx

Hi Lynda, You didn't get this one past me. lol.
ReplyDeleteLove, love ,love it. Gorgeous colours love the design of the card too. Ok, your cornflowers look great when I do mine they look really tatty, not like a flower at all, I am obviously doing something wrong. Love the weaving dies. Great sentiment inside the card. You are a talented lady.
Hugs Theresa (TOB) xx
Hi Theresa thank you so much for your kind words on my card. I know what you meen about the cornflower,I didn't quit know what to do with them,I just topped a large one with smaller one & just fan them out. They actually look better in real life than in photo.I'm waiting for a video on them from Sue.
DeleteHug'S Lynda xxxx
Lynda, I have looked in a few times today trying to see your card, but this silly ipad is well wasn't showing it. So thankfully it behaving now, a gorgeous card with all your different die cuts. Yes I can't see me spending much on Saturday at glasgow, not after paying for my health insurance for us going to canada later on £379, but I can't go away with out it, I don't want to be ill but you can't take the risk, as Charlie said £20 more and we could get another return flight. So I will be good and not spend much. Hazel x
ReplyDeleteHi Hazel,
DeleteThank you for your lovely comment. What is it with IPads mine is always freezing up & always when just finishing a comment then having to do it all again or it goes into cyber space. Gosh that's a lot of insurance Hazel but as you say you need it. I hope you can resist spending on Saturday but enjoy the craft show.

Hi Lynda,
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card ! I love strong strong colours and this is right up my street tihi is that how you say it. Your cornflowers are sweet and your inside is lovely, you always know how to make that looking so good. Guess what happened yesterday ? My OH took me over to Hobby craft and bought me the Teal spellbinder cutting machine yay !! so you know what I been up to today lol Cutting still a bit iffy and I made a big bobo just after two or three goes and accidentally cut the A plate, I was so cross with myself grrr! Having eye test wednesday !
Hope you are better after you cough now and so sorry you didn't get your hug from Harry. Omg , what were the girls up to ? what a mess it must be and taking out a bathroom can't be the easiest. It's good if you can do some things yourself. My dad is very handy with absolutely everything, not always right but can't say that to him ,he is always right, not hihi
My OH on the other hand calling in our painter and decorator, window cleaners, etc, etc when things need doing. They are nearly the same age but brought up so different.
Was all fine with Terry ?
It's late again and I'm going swimming in the morning so you take care , see you tomorrow lol hope you having a good night. Hugs Maria xx
Thank you so much Marie, your comment is so lovely. Gosh you was spoilt from OH new teal GC wow when you say you cut the A plate do you meen you've cracked it. If not the die's do cut into the A plate that's normal you should see mine hihi. Hope you enjoyed your swim.
DeleteTerry had Ultrasound Saturday got to wait for results. Enjoy your crafting Maria.
Hug's Lynda xxxx
Hi Lynda,
DeleteHope you are all fine ? No I didn't crack the A plate but did do a mess cutting the die the wrong way around lol have now done it three times . I thought deffo I needed new glasses but my eye test was ok only a little bit changed so was not enough to change the glasses yet. My mum found out she got glaucoma in her right eye after tests done for her cancer Her grandfather had it so I'm getting tested from now on every year free so thats something from the nhs. Seeing Julia Watts tomorrow for the craftshop, I'm looking forward but at the same time nervous lol not for seeing her but she might make the cards to quick for me to hang on. It's what usually happening and I finished them off at home. Probably be some lookalike of hers and Sue's.....
Going for a little laydown, went swimming this morning and that was lovely but my body seem to shut down so I'm cold and feeling rather stiff pm. lol not everything is stiff Rick is saying and he means my gob lol isn't he nice Take care, see you in the cafe'. I think Sandra and Paul will have to build it out if more people joining tihi !
Hugs Maria xx
