Sending Big Hug's

Avery good morning to all the ladies that visit my blog, if any of you that comment in the cafe on Sandra's blog you are more than welcome to pop over & look at my card's.
If anyone would like to leave me a comment that would be so lovely of you i would really appreciate them.
Thank you all. Hug's Lynda xx

I started with a 8 x 8 scalloped white base card matted red & black card Embossed the black piece first with the Rambling Blossom folder from Creative Expressions designed by Sue Wilson.
The focal die is a tonic die i cut some of her those when i was at my friend's.
I glued it to the black card added some white flat back pearl's too it & some black one's on the outside swirls, added a Itty Bitty bow from the finishing touches range by S/W.I cut several Camilla open & closed petals also S/W,glued them together & put some glossy accents on each petal & let dry.cut some of the leaves.
The middle was another tonic die cut in black added sentiment.
Thank you for taking the time too pop in.
Love & Hug's Lynda xxxx

  1. Wow oh wow Lynda this is absolutely stunning so very rich and opulent looking and your flowers and the pearls just add that little bit extra to make your card so very luxurious.
I find the Tonic dies do cut so very well and cleanly too how did you find they cut?
Have a lovely weekend especially after the stress of your late appointments this week.

    1. Hello Margaret,
The tonic die's are my friends dies I cut them at her's a couple of weeks ago & yes I found them very easy to cut, this one is quite big,but I liked the saying on it. It's good that she lets me try out her die's.
I have had a hectic weekend,Saturday we went to Darren's as Alfie was down he was 9 on Friday they booked up a commando combat Lazer thing I stayed in with Sam as I wouldn't see them doing it Terry did it as well as Alfie friend didn't come long story his mother again GRRR,so spare ticket. It was lovely seeing him & YAY Harry Cuddles then at 4pm we all went too Lisa for dinner but Darren had to take Alfie home first,so I got to see Joseph too so all grandsons in one day how good was that. Today I went with my friend to Oysterstamps open day which was good lots of demo's shhhh spent too much lol

    2. Hi Lynda so pleased you got to see Alfie his mother will pay the price for her actions just you wait and see because he is of the age now to fully understand what she is doing or not doing as the case may be. It is out of your hands unfortunately Lynda so don't let it hurt you otherwise she has won and we don't want that.
You enjoy your cuddles with your little prince charming.
      With love

Hope your now in a better frame of mind Theresa as you now know what was causing all your terrible pain, but I don't understand how the other doctors missed on the
X-ray your shoulder was broken,at last there is a light at the end of the tunnel, when do you see the consultant again to see if you need a operation or not Theresa.

  5. Hi Lynda,
A lot of black but it works with the red and white input. Sending you a hug looks big but I like the words and sending you a big hug back!
I went on my own to the workshop, have no crafting friends. Rick drove me there and back ,only twenty minutes from were we live. The other ladies were fine and when you start crafting you get so busy and concentrating so hard to what JW is showing you, hence the sore shoulders and back tonight lol It was fun and I learned some new things but at £40 I'm not sure if I can go even if I'd like too. As you say, it is a lot of other things we can buy for that money. Oh dear so sorry you cut the shim again. Do you think it is our age or meds which is the problem ? I can never remember names etc. so it was good they made us a name badge to wear lol I might wear it at AP so you can find me lol. Must have been lovely to see Alfie and Harry of course :-)
lots of hugs to you and the family Maria xx

  6. Hi Maria
Thank you for your lovely comment.
Yes they are big Die cuts I don't think I would buy the die myself. Glad you enjoyed JW work shop & you learnt things. I went to Oysterstamps open day yesterday was lots of demo's but not any make & Takes, spent too much money Arrr wish I was rich,I think I was at the back of the queue when I was born Fat, shy,dim & poor oh well at least I have two wonderful children & three lovely Grandsons, & two Step granddaughters so not all bad.
I'm a bit like you I can't remember name's & I don't think I concentrate when doing my die cuts regarding sticking die's on card wrong way round must be a seiner moment thing.well in my case I'm probably a lot older than you Maria.
Yaay just got my AP tickets in post this morning

  8. Lynda I was sure I left a comment on this wonderful card, I know I am having senior moments lately but oh boy it is getting worse. So glad you had time with all your grandsons, poor Alfie he must be on edge when he goes home, but he knows who loves him and as he gets older he will understand what's going on with his mum. That new dies is a treat to work with and I am really pleased I bought it, I have made a card with my other two will get them up In the next day or two. Hazel x

  9. Hi Lynda,
Sorry it's taken me so long to get here! Most of my emails didn't download in Majorca so had loads to deal with when I came home! In the middle was your email about your new card post! I saw it this morning but was out at Kids Craft this afternoon!
Your card is lovely! Itis a big die but the sentiment is so nice. I like your touch of red which gives it a lovely lift and your pearls the perfect finishing touch. So pleased you had a good weekend with the family. Will email very soon.
    Lots of love,

  10. Hi Myra,thank you,
The die I used is one of my friends she lets me cut out some when I want to. It is a large one so I couldn't think what else to do with it,but I also loved the sentiment, I was quit pleased with how it turned out.
Hope you both enjoyed your holiday in Majorca & are well rested, was the weather hot,
Hope kids club went ok, bet you missed your craft room Myra. Take things easy my friend.

  11. Hi Lynda, how are you and the DB tihi as long it is not standing for you know who....
You are awake a lot too late at night. Is it because of pain or that you just can't sleep ?
I think we are a bit alike in some things, shy , round and can't see very well. Oh we are going to have so much fun at AP. Poor Sue and Julia want know what hit them. we watched Off their Rockers tonight and I could see us doing something silly when we really are together lol
Hope you all well ? My mamma starting radiations in beginning of April, they leaving the chemo for now but how knows...... I spoke to them in nearly two hours yesterday. It was my dad's B.day and he thanked me for the card I made him and Oh dear I had forgotten what I made ! How crazy is that and I had forgotten to take a photo too otherwise I could have looked it up boy how stupid. It must be the meds. that making me stupid or is it that age thingy again ,sights, Hope you have a peaceful night ,big hug to you and your family+ dogs and bird lol

yes i have been up late couldn't sleep everything is aching more at the moment think i will have to go back to the doctors & see about my neck back hands feet & legs,i think it's Arthritis taking over, but not sure doctor will agree with my diagnostic.
Maria i hope your mamma is ok & her radiation treatment goes well for her,& hope your dad had a lovely birthday, don't worry about forgetting to take a picture of his card,i did the same i made a 40th Anniversary for Saturday,& forgot to take picture, luckily we went to the party so took one on my phone but not very good bit blurry, think it's old age on my part because your younger.
