My first Lyra Izzi bag

Hello Ladies this is my first attempt at a Izzi bag.Yes it had to have a butterfly somewhere  lol,
I used teal foundation card for the base & foundation card in Duck egg blue for the Flap
cut the Lyra die on the Flap.Attached it to the body, i added the floral meadow striplet too the bottom
cut the handle from the duck egg card & out of the teal card cut the finishing touches the lattice strip
extending it a little. glued it onto the handle,& attached handle with large brad from my stash.
then cut the lattice strip in duck egg for sides & back. added two chipboard butterfly's too front & one on the back. Glued the Carina die under flap ( had a happy accident ).
well what do you think,i would love you to leave me a comment as i love reading them.

Hope you are all behaving in the cafe.I will pop over soon just got to sort the D/B's out hihi.
Thank you for stopping by Hug's Lynda xx

We went to Darren's yesterday for dinner so i did have cuddles with Harry,he was a little bit grizzly as his teeth are starting to break through, but still got some lovely smiles too. I'm lucky as last Sunday we went to Lisa for dinner & Darren,Sam & Harry came too so two weeks of cuddles & to see Alfie for a little while & of course Joseph YAY.

  5. Well Lynda,
This is lovely, and so elegantly finished off. Isn't it a shame that we cannot use them in real life, this one's a stunner.

    1. Hi Maria, thank you for your kind words on my Izzy bag ( or bobo Izzi ) hihi.
I only used foundation card I forgot to cut the inside flat the cut it crooked so had a brainwave to put the carina die over the happy accident to save all the measuring exctra.
& added the striplet too the bottom as looked a bit plain.
I wasn't well yesterday with sickness bug stayed in bed all day, still not too good today:0((
Hope your ok Maria Hug's Lynda xx

  8. Lynda it wasn't until I wrote you a reply on Sandras blog that I remember I had seen your beautiful bags, they are gorgeous I love, love them. I really enjoyed making them. I had looked on my phone on Monday but I can't leave a comment on my phone I have tried to sort it, must get daughter on to it. But of course in my mind I had left one, so sorry. Poor Harry he will be a bit uncomfortable with those teeth. Hazel x
