Flower Garden

 Good afternoon too all who pass through my blog today your all welcome
I haven't put a card up for a while been a lot going on this month hospital appointment for both of us.
Still have CT scan for Terry on 28th. And i  lost my mojo a bit too. Any way i hope you like my card today. Myra kindly sent me the background &the flags die cut's,so thank you again Myra.

I started with an 8 x 8 card blank card. I cut a piece of card & embossed with the Rambling Blossom folder by Creative Expression, & layered over card base,i then cut a slightly larger matt in blush for the the background die cut & a teal both with foundation card
Then just arranged the flowers witch i bought from Hobbycraft cut two finishing touches curled vine & a small butterfly the vine leaves were also from Myra.added a bitty bow & stamped happy birthday onto the flag added some pearl embellishments .
On the inside printed my verse from computer cut it out with Noble square inner cutting edge then cut one out of Teal card & matted them together at an angle.

    Hi Lynda,
    It's lovely! I love how you've used the dies and your flowers are lovely. You made an excellent job of stamping on that banner! It's much easier to stamp then cut but you had no option. Also I love how you finished off with your lovely message inside.

      It's all down to the die's you sent me,I was quite pleased with how it turned out.
      Hope all went well at the old people's home & they enjoyed the craft's you prepared for them.
      I got the little flowers from Hobbycraft as thought they would look better than big ones.

    Hi Lynda, nice to see one of you cards. When I first saw this greek die I wasn't sure about it, but I know Myra used it on her beautiful card and now you have used it on your beautiful card, I now love it. Love your flowers the embossing is gorgeous. Love that colour card, some arrived today so hoping Tony will cut some out for me.

      Thank you so much for your kind words.
      I wasn't sure about that Greek die myself but Myra kindly sent it to me,I did look at it for a few days wondering what to do with it,but I was quite pleased with it. I'm not sure if I will buy that die. Theresa your card was Stunning yesterday on Sandra's,Tony did a great job cutting the die's out for you.Glad you got some teal card it's my favourite colour at the moment.
      I have to ask why have they sent you for Physio on your shoulder if you have fractured it,God it must be agony for you.
      So pleased Tony can cut you some die cutting for you at least you get to do some crafting with his help & your daughter's. Look forward to seeing more of your cards.

      Hi Lynda, I have to have physio because the fracture has healed but they do not know if it has healed correctly so my shoulder is really stiff because the tendon has hardened up because of the tear, they need to get the tendon stretching to see if it will heal by itself or if they need to operate somewhere down the line. |It's an nightmare as I can't sleep because everytime I turn over the pain is severe. Thank you so much for asking. It's lovely to see you blogging again. I would like to start a blog but have no idea on how to do it. Any advice would be great. Cheers Theresa (TOB)xx

      Oooo that made my toes curl up ouch,you ar so brave I can imagine how much pain your in. Is the Physio helping do you think & is the pain bearable when he is stretching your shoulder I do hope so.

    Wow Lynda this is stunning and most definitely worth waiting for, the Greek background is beautiful the way you have used it and your leaves and flowers are so sweet, I love it.
    Hope all goes well at the hospital for Terry, then the two of you can have some well earned rest from Doctors and hospitals, and enjoy your walks with Annie and Bambi.

    Hi Lynda, yes you have posted a new card and I love it ! The colour Teal is fab, and how good of Myra to sending you the greek die cut out ,wouldn't it be good if you can have some test round before buying a die or not... The flowers are pretty and the bow is so cute. and do I spot a butterfly too lol. The inside is as always beautiful and I'm sure Margaret will love your card ! Will have to look for some new colours to work with,maybe thats my problem when I can't put anything together, I don't know. I do love seeing your cards and it's got very busy in the cafe' lately so it takes a while to read through every day lol we are a bunch of 'nutters' lol. When I tell Rick to leave me alone for a hour or so because I'm going to the cafe' he just shaking his head lol. Sorry to hear you have had so busy to the hospital etc. Hope all goes fine for Terry on the 28th, give him a hug from me tihi. I got the die from Sue this morning and the card, it is beautiful and will sit in a special place one day when I have a craft- room, in about 10 years time or is that when they moving back home again, help lol don't think I could handle that. The die is great, so pleased everybody agreed for me not to change it but uj what a thing I started. I didn't know how asked to change at all and still don't.
    I'm writing new things on my wishlist every day and know I will never be able to buy it all but when do you choose what you really want to buy ? It seemed so long to Ally Pally and in a few days we can say it is next month lol It will be great to give you a real Hug at last lol it feels like we known eachother for years ! Hope you feeling better soon and that the mojo popping back ,it's definitely not here lol but I have a anniversary card to make for my OH and a birthday card for my dad so I must slap out of this silly mood and get going but hopefully it will be the bed lol or am I having a no sleep one again, who knows....       Awww thank you Maria for your kind words,yes it was kind of Myra as I sent her some of Sue's Bitty bows,she said she would send me some in return. I did like this background but not sure if I will buy it.
      You were right Maria not swapping you Die you won,I think the man had a cheek asking to swap why did he go in that particular draw if he already had it how stupid.Pleased you received it & your card.
      It will be so lovely to meet up with you Maria &call the other's. What time do you think you will get there. Sandra is getting there at 9 /9.30 am As they open earlier for the disabled.
      Are you putting something on like a name badge or a Sue bow. Or I could carry Annie under my arm like in my picture hi hi .
      Bit silly that, I think your silly mood is rubbing off on me lol.

      Hi Lynda, don't think they allowed dogs in unless for the hard of hearing or not seeing to good ,.ey saying that she probably can come in because I just described myself lol.
      Not sure what time yet but will be there quite early I would say, coming back on that one. Have not got any Sue bow but might have a badge with my name on. You wont have any problems to find me, I'm big as a Hippo with red hair, going white shriek, and depending on the day I walk like no problems in the world or like I got the darkest clouds over my shoulders lol Already so excited ! Went to 'the works and bought two packs of the cards plus some other bits and bobs I didn't really need but liked lol there went my promise to myself not to spend any money until AP!
      I also got a e-mail from Hobbycraft and they selling the Teal cutting machine and I like the look of it but not sure, what do you think ? Hug to Terry for tomorrow, he will be fine ,it's Maria nameday tomorrow in my Calendar so that a good sign lol Hope you are ok , Hugs Maria xx

      You did make me smile about not letting dog's in unless hard of hearing well I have two hearing aids also suspect glaucoma so I think I qualify I'm deaf a bit blind & I'm also as big as a elephant with hi lights in short hair. They wouldn't see Bambi she is a small Chawuauwa so could get away with it. Now you know who your looking for we will meet quickly.
      I went too the works yesterday I got one of the 12 x 12 papers,& a adult colouring book
      How sad is that,it's quite a nice book actually.
      Sooo looking forward to AP now only a few weeks. We my friend I'm off to bed bit tired tonight so good night love Lynda xx

    Lynda, a beautiful card, that was so kind of Myra to let you borrow it to. I am so trying to not buy much, but use what I have. Did go to the works and bought two of the 12x12 pads they have on offer at £3. I can see the girls changing their minds over the cards they have made of mum when they see these beautiful papers. Hope the scan goes ok, Hazel x

    Hi Hazel,thank you for your kind words,I'm not sure I would buy the die although I was pleased with this card. Myra didn't lend me the actual die just sent the die cut,as I sent her some bitty bow's & bless her she wanted to send something back,she is so sweet.

    Brilliant card Lynda, I love the wonderful effect you have achieved using that brilliant die and all your pretty embellishments. I have resisted the Die so far however Hazel and I are off to SECC Glasgow for the Hobbycraft Show. Will I still be able to resist when I see it???
