  1. Lynda, no comments on your wondeful card. Using those lovely dies. I think everyone has been to busy watching our Sue? I only watched the first show and I got so out off with Nigel and his chatter. Then Gillian and I were working on their invites and then tea to see to so never got a chance to watch anymore, it's a pity Sue wasnt showing her new dies, it looks like we will have to wait a week or two for that. Enjoy the rest of your weekend. Hazel x

    2. The invites, all the bits are cut. But I need to go visit Adrian at the craft shop and get him to cut my A3 card down for me. I had enough cut but with all that went on at work I messed 5 up when I was embossing, but once I get those 5 we will only have to add the inserts and get the boxes lined with the tissue, she will hand deliver the ones she can. They will have ribbon tried round them, the ones to be posted are to have a a fancy die cut where the address will be written on. Tonight iam making the evening invites u, 50 to begin with so 50 striplets to cut, have cut 15 today. The invites are looking lovely even if I say it myself. Did you enjoy all those Harry cuddles??? 2. Oh boy! Lynda what a wonderful card so very elegant with a real touch of class I love it and your flowers are so beautiful too. I have said it before and will again I love how you complete the inside of your cards.
Yes I have watched Sue's shows but oh those presenters I do so wish they would just shut up you would think it was them who are the star of the show we don't what to know about them, I found myself telling them to shut up.
I really think it would be so much better if Sue did the shows herself and I'm sure they would sell more it is the demo's people want to see and hear about. At lest there will be one less when DB goes what wonderful news! Sorry Lynda rant over.
Are you seeing your little prince charming this weekend if so give him a big hug from me please.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend
    With love

    1. Good morning Margaret,
Thank you so much again for your lovely words on your comment.
I only got chance to watch a little of Sue shows,as we visited some friends yesterday.
I know what you meen about the presenters they never stop too take a breath in between there waffling.I didn't realise that Sue wasn't aloud to mention her blog any more, what harm dose it do. Is DB leaving C & C for good then.
Perhaps she is having trouble with her new fiancée. Apparently he has tried to get a visa three times & been refused,so maybe that's why he want to marry her too get into the country. I wonder if Sue's shows will be cancelled if she had sell outs yesterday.
It would be great if they would just let her demonstrate by herself.
Thank you again Love & Hug's Lynda xx

  3. Hi Lynda, you certainly have the knack of using Sue's dies in a different way, your flowers are so pretty too!
I have watched & recorded the shows, the only one that was bearable was the second one with Dave, the consummate professional, as always!
So few of them have that perfect balance of enough chat and letting guests demo!
Shows were virtually sell outs so not sure what will happen tomorrow, I hope they don't scrub the shows!
Look forward to seeing your next creation lovely,
    Hugs

    1. Hi Sandra,
Thank you so much, didn't realy see any of The shows but have recorded them.yes hope they haven't cancelled tomorrow. Wouldn't it be wonderfull if they just let Sue demonstrate by her self if she has a sell out instead of cancelling all tomorrow show's.
Congratulations on winning a Sue card Sandra.

  4. Hi Lynda,
third time lucky.I have lost my comment to somewhere out in space just when I going to post it grrrr! Your card is nice. Like the EF you have used and the camellia flowers are so sweet (especially the little ones) also the bitty bow with the tulle is nice too. Thanks to you I have started to do some cutting out but it's hard and not many be done over a few hours but it is a start. Hope you and family is fine, any visits from baby Harry ? My dream -it was Sandra who mention her knickers going out for the dinner with the family and I dreamt the got bigger and bigger until.......tihi what a silly dream. Been watching our Sue all day and also have her recorded. Can't be much left to sell, she did well today just wish the presenters could give her the chance to show us demos and not so interfering all the time. The was not the new dies I expected dho on the show but still great to see how they worked together. I like the Noble set too and one or two striplet but will wait to AP and see them proper before buying any, they are quite costly on CxC so I like to shop around a bit.Last I bought some from Craft World but you have to spend £ 25 for free shipping. Where do you usually get yours from ? Honest now, how many did you buy this time ? tihi Called my mamma today and she is not good so just spoke to my dad.I hate the big C with a vengeance, so many who have it, enough of that..... Will make myself a coffee and watch some D.A. now so you have a continued nice weekend and I see you soon, many Hugs to you and the family, Maria xx.

  5. Hi Lynda,
I'm very late tonight but it's been quite a day hasn't it! I didn't think I was havin the family tomorrow but they are coming after all! So had to set to work and prepare veggies etc! Mornings are not my best time - well early mornings!
Now you are looking at dies outside the box! I love your colours and the lovely sheen on your little flowers and bow which is set off beautifully with the tulle. I don't have the itty bitty bows but there are so many sets I'd love to have!
Been a really good day. I have made embellishments while I watched and also some air dry clay shapes for the children . They will make them too but of course they can't colour them straight away so I make some in advance - they colour those after they have made a few themselves which they colour the following week! Sorry what a long tale!
Thanks Lynda for sharing your lovely card. Hope the tinnitus is a bit easier.
    Have a lovely Sunday,
    Lots of love, Myra xxx

Hope youre having a good weekend and managed to get some cuddles from the gorgeous Harry.

  9. Hi Lynda. Sorry I didnt comment earlier, what with Sue's weekend show's and having to at least try to start the order Ive got, the weekend was a blur !
Id never think of embossing the card blank, I always mat and layer my base with the last mat sometimes embossed, and sometimes plain. You do have a unique style of placing the dies, again, taking dies in a different direction.
    Have a good Tuesday.
