GOLDEN ANGEL

Hi everyone the weather is horrible again here raining & strong winds.
Hope your getting better weather.Your all welcome to my little blog
I have a Christmas card for you today if you like it please leave me a comment
I appreciate them thank you.

I started with a 8 x 8 blank base card matted with black then foundation gold card
then another black mat. I embossed Sue Wilson's Classic adorned rectangle die with the gold
i made the frame by embossing first the cut it after.i covered a piece of card with sticky sheet
Then gilded it with gold mica flakes then glued my frame onto it using  mountain foam & some cosmic drys clear glue, trimmed the excess off from under frame.
I cut the 2015 Christmas Angel Designed by Sue Wilson onto the front of gilding flakes
cut some of the stars & the joy also in the set. i shadowed the joy with black card.

Thank you all Hug's Lynda xxxx

  1. Hi Lynda, hope you all ok in the family incl. four paws and beaky. Did some gardening, just tidy up around the patio the other day but stupidly did something wrong and the back now in such a pain, never learn but little better today after been to the pool and sat a while in the spa. Nice and warm and something else that's warm looking is your Angel card today. Beautiful in gold and the gilding flakes, you are very brave :-) still can't get a grip of that media. You should have popped in for a Builders Tea passing Mk, maybe next time. Glad you had a nice time. See you around, love and hugs

  2. Hello Lynda,
Oh this is lovely. The angel looks so gorgeous against the gilding flakes. I may have to borrow that idea.
I see your OH has Man Flu, it's the moans, groans, sniffles and sighs that get me. Why can't they just be ill, without all the sound effects ha ha.
I hope the old back, feet and legs sort themselves out soon.
