comment on Janie's bag card. This is only my second attempt at a Izzy bag.
I hope she likes it,her birthday is on Saturday the 8th August.So what do you think.
i will make a small card & pop it inside with some money as that's what she wanted,
Well she did ask for a car or a horse HAHA.
First i cut all the pieces out from Izzy's instruction,The dies used are
On the flap i used CYGNUS FROM THE GEMINI COLLECTION designed by Sue Wilson
on the body i used two FLORAL MEADOW FROM THE STRIPLET COLLECTION
Then over the middle i cut two of strip from the CLASSIC LATTICE BOW
FINISHING TOUCHES SET. I also used this die on the back & down the handle.
On top of handle i added the CLASSIC LARGE BOW WITH PEARL IN MIDDLE
Added too the back a MAJESTIC BUTTERFLY FROM THE FINISHING TOUCHES RANGE.
i Computer generated the birthday sentiment cut it out with PIERCED FLAG DIE
On the handles each side glued a pretty button from my stash,& added some MDF small butterfly's.
I added a Velcro closure.

Lynda, this is gorgeous. I bet Janie was thrilled, but you'd have struggled to get a horse or a car in this bag!!!

Lynda, sorry I meant to come and look at your izzy bag when you said in the cafe you had put it up on your blog. It's fantastic you have put so much little details on to it. Well she can save your money towards a car. I remember our Tammy saving every penny she earn to get the things she wanted. Like a flat and a car. She had a nanny car in her first job which was a Mercedes, thank goodness she never liked it and bought herself a Citroen AX.
