Friend's Birthday card

Hello everyone that pops into my little blog, your all welcomeThis Sunday afternoon has now turned very cold after a lovely sunny morning.

This card i made for a very dear friend although i haven't actually met her in person.

started with an 8x8 white base card did a black mat a white pearl mat another black one all cut out with Sue Wilson's large pieced square's die by Creative Expressions.
The focal element die is Conture creations Vierge square with the fire & ice technique in gold gilding flacks & ice snow cut that out also with pierced squares. Then just stamped my sentiment from Phill Martin's Chic floral birthday verses & cut it out with the spellbinders corner dies & shadowed  it in black card i cut some open in white card & closed in black of the Camilla flowers from S.W  finishing touches.put them together & put some glossy accents in the flowers let them dry & arranged top right & bottom left with the foliage all from the finishing touches

well i hope that made sense :0)) & if you liked my card i would love you to leave me a comment
Thank you all again for popping in. Hug's Lynda xx

  2. Hi Lynda.

Oh wow that card looks amazing.!!! I see a lot of sues techniques and died in there! Lol.
A lot of work an effort and love obviously went into it. I love those flowers. I have those dies too but the flowers I find are fiddly but well worth it when u see them.
I see Uve used the shiny stuff on them. Not tried that on my flowers but it looks very effective! Must give it a go.
Was signed off work today. My brave work place face fell apart and I couldn't hold it together :-(.
But seeing ur lovely card has made me smile I might go make some tomorrow when I've had some proper sleep! Doc gave me a few sleepy pills to help for a few nights am shattered xx

  3. Lynda, I can't believe it. I saw this card when you posted it and commented, but it has disappeared into the wide blue yonder. This Windows 10 has been good so far, but I'm beginning to wonder....
Your card is beautiful, and I'm not surprised that Sheila loved it. Your cards to me have been stunning.
    Lots of love
