  7. Hi Lynda.
This is my good week so trying to catch up with things I need to do before chemo next week.
My picc line had to be removed as it was in the wrong position and they couldn't get blood out of it. Oh well they said they'd try get it into my hand next tues but if they can't then I need to goto Ayr hospital to get a new one in. They don't do this procedure at crosshouse hospital where I'm at for chemo. It seems really silly.

Alice's doing fine she's had a few infections and her side effects aren't just as severe as mine but on the whole she's doin great. She gets her surgery after her chemo is finished as her tumour is bigger than whAt mine was so she's getting here shrunk first.
We meet on our good week for lunch so seeing her tomorrow.
    Thanks for asking xx

    1. Hi TRACY lovely hearing from you is Ayr hospital far away from you as you say really silly they don't do it at your hospital lets hope they can get your line in your hand mind you is that more painful. Your doing great my friend wish I lived nearer so we could meet up.
Glad Alice is doing good.apart from her infection,is she having different treatment than you or do some people have more severe side affects than others, sorry your side affects are worse.
Have a lovely lunch with Alice tomorrow sending you ((((Hug's)))) & some (((((Hug's )))) for Alice take care love Lynda xx

    2. Hi Lynda.
Ayr is about a 25 min drive from me crosshouse is 5 min.
Getting it in the hand is uncomfortable as my veins are crap line was a lot easier to have but a little complicated with the weekly maintainance.

Alice and I are having the same drugs but our types of cancer although in the breast are different. At the end of treatment I get nothing. At the end of Alice's she will yet daily pills to take as hers is a hormone related type where mine isn't. And yeah everyone reacts different to the drugs. We both suffered full body pain like flu hers lasted a few days mine almost a week. I've had a lot of sores inside my nose and mouth. She just had it in mouth. Plus I'm still feeling as tho I've got pins n needles in my feet. And it's uncomfy. Ah well no pain no gain right??
It's all in the name of getting better.

Maybe some day we will meet if I ever get to an ally pally show I've heard it's great to goto.

Hugs to u too doll xxx
