Birthday card for Nikki

Good Sunday evening hope you have had a lovely weekend & kept warm it's been very cold
in Broadstairs very strong winds & heavy rain. Down by the sea  the waves were crashing up the sea walls & over the top a few people got soaked.I'm just praying we don't get snow i hate the white stuff.
Thank you for calling into my little blog. I hope you like this card in a box.It would be lovely if you could leave me a comment please. Thank you

I made this card for Nikki a special young lady. I have got too know her
through her mummy my lovely virtual friend Sheila whom i nearly met as apparently
i was standing only a foot away from her outside the NEC .waiting for a taxi so near yet so far away
I didn't know she was going as i would have loved meeting her.

I brought the template from Robert Adam's from his stand at NEC i have made the smaller one before but loved this bigger version. It came with the die for the flaps i also cut two back to back for each of the bottom panels & added flat backed pearls round the middle & decorated it with butterfly's & flowers.
I am thrilled Sheila emailed me saying Nikki loved it.
This should have been the first picture

Sorry for the rubbish photography i should have taken from the top angle  but hopefully you like my card in a box.
Thank you all again for popping in Love & Hug's Lynda xxxx

NOEL STAR

Hello welcome again too my blog. Hope you are all well & keeping warm
In this very wet & windy weather we are having lately.
November is disappearing fast i must get more Christmas cards made as running out of time.
hope you like my new card a very simple one. Please leave me a comment I would love to know
what you think.

As i said a very easy one to make White base 8 x 8 card & a grey black mat cut with Sue Wilson Noble square die then a white mat, the focal point it made by tearing black tissue & using glossy accents & sticking them onto a piece of card leaving some folds for dimension so i'ts  not flat. once dry i rubbed cosmic shimmer silver gilding wax over it. Cut two creative Expressions designed by Sue Wilson's trees & the Noel star dies out & used spray glue & covered with creative Expressions  ice snow for a bit of bling.

Thank you for taking the time & pop into my blog.

My Son's 38th birthday card

Hello i haven't posted for a while we have been having a lot of internet problems,so hopefully
i will finish this post before i loose it all. Any way i hope you are all ok & thank you for popping in.
I hate doing man cards but i was quite pleased with this one for my son.

I started by cutting THE CANADIAN COLLECTION BACKGROUND Designed by Sue Wilson.
( I had this from my friend for my birthday i love it.)
i used soft gold card & left the middle section out of the die, then cut a piece of black card a little larger,& cut the middle section out also& glued together & put mountain foam on he back
I then i cut the middle die section again from the gold card & backed it with black card glued it onto base card & then took the backing off the mountain foam, put it over the top so it was recessed in middle. Then matted another piece of gold card then a wide black Matt then onto my 8 x 8 base card.
I printed a happy birthday cut it out with Sue's pieced flag Die & matted it onto a black flag.I made a classic foldover flower from the FINISHING TOUCHES RANGE BY Sue Wilson.
from parchment paper.
I followed the theme though to the middle.

I hope that all makes sense,& thank you again for stopping by.So what do you think
I would love you to leave a comment Hug's Lynda xx

40TH BIRTHDAY CARD I WAS ASKED FOR

Good Sunday hope you are all well & having a good weekend
we had brilliant sunshine yesterday but today we have rain. Thank you for popping into my little bit of blog land.Your all very welcome. My friend asked me to go with her to J C Creations yesterday at Maidstone in Kent as Julia Watts was Demonstrating there from 10am till 4pm i really enjoyed it.
Julia  showed lots of different techniques with texture past, mica powders & lot's more, she also used  some new spellbinders dies not the Christmas die's,they haven't been realest yet,she did say they were lovely.

I was asked to make a 40th birthday card using pink & white card, this is what i came up with
I first used a 8 x 8 scallop white card base & matted pink white pink card stock all embossed with the bed of roses embossing folder from Creative Expression designed by Sue Wilson
The striplet  die cut i cut at my friends awhile ago i did a marathon cutting session of her die's.
I think this is called block's again designed by our Sue.I backed them with pink card &  placed them across the the card front.
I cut several Camellia closed & open one's i shaped them & curled them & glued them together
The one's on the top right of card  i put smaller open petal's on top of the closed petal's.
I arranged on left hand corner some white tulle tied  a pink bow on top put a small pearl embellishment arranged the flowers  around added some Splendid Swirls from the
finishing touches range designed  by our Sue,added two pearl stick pin's too coordinate.
I then printed a Happy 40th birthday changed the colour from black too pink cut it out with the Pierced tag die again from Sue's finishing touches range i cut one in white & topped it onto the pink.
Then on the top right corner i put some white tulle ten arranged the other flowers on top & added some leaves & small pearl's in center of flower's
on the opposite corner YES a butterfly with two pearls in center.
on the inside i used the Largest die from the Noble pierced rectangle cut it out in pink card then printed the verse onto white card  i changed the colour to pink & cut out with the second die from
the ornate pierced design Noble die  set.cut a small butterfly & some more small flowers.
I also made a box & decorated the front with a butterfly & some babies breath in pink.
I wrapped the card in tissue paper before putting in the box
The  lady said she was very pleased with it & have another order from her for a wedding card in
August.
Thank you  again for looking,if you would like to leave me a comment below i will appreciate it
