Wednesday's Card

A very good afternoon my usual crafty friend's & welcome to any new ladies that stop by your all welcome & a big thank you all who leave me a comment i really appreciate them all.
Today's card is a pretty easy quick one.
I started with a 8 x 8 white base card which i embossed with Creative Expressions
Rambling blossoms folder designed by Sue Wilson. I cut a piece of  Coconut white foundation card, then a smaller piece of foundation teal card,i matted them together.
Then cut out a Cheery Lynn flourish die in white, glued it onto the teal card cut three butterfly's for balance positioned them on the flourish,i cut some small closed petal Carmella flower's in white card, i formed them with small ball tool & drew some blue lines with my Marvy Leplume blue pen to add a bit of colour to them.
In the middle of the card i cut the New York Collection Time Square die the second die in the set out of Teal card. Then stamped the sentiment in black Archival ink pad onto coconut white card, cut it out with third die from same set the glued into the middle.
I hope you like my finished card. Please leave  me a comment if you can as i love to read them,i will answer them all with a thank you. If you would like to chat with any ladies who leave messages on my  blog please feel free to do so it's fine with me.
Thank you all  Love & Hug's Lynda xxxx

  2. Oh WOW. Lynda your card is gorgeous, love everything you have done and those colours are wondeful, the butterflies are just perfect too. Is that cough any better, have you tried rubbing old fashioned Vicks on the soles of your feet and putting socks on before going to bed, works with the kids and it's what I had done in the past. Better than cough medicine, even a bit rubbed on your chest and back, smell terrible but if it helps it's worth it. Hazel xx

Wow what a stunning card I really love how you have constructed this and those butterflies are quite simply wonderful, so too is the way you have completed your card on the inside, another stunning card.
I hope you are feeling a little better has that cough eased any, I am with Hazel, Vick is very good with either a cough or a cold, and far better than medicine.

  9. Beautiful card as always from your imagination Lynda.
I also had same problem with the gilding wax going hard. However if you have a heat gun, you can reactivate the wax to soften it. Don't put your fingers in it straight away though or you'll get burnt!
Thank you so much for your very kind advice on my blog page, I will try that and my apologies for not getting back in touch with you sooner, I was so excited with the ALL CLEAR that everything went out of my mind.

  11. Hi Lynda,
Yeeeeees the butterflies are back and on such a gorgeous card...the teal always looks so rich, it's a fabulous colour. Love how you have used the flourish then added Sue's pretty little flowers to it ...oh and the bow is so cute. Hubby and I are off on a little break from Mon to Fri...I will try and use my phone to comment but I'm not very techy minded so forgive if I don't succeed with it.
Have a lovely wekend and hope you get some lovely Harry cuddles.

Thank you so much for your lovely words. Yes had to put some Butterflys I was getting withdrawal symptoms haha I know I tend to put too many on sometimes.
We are both had no luck with the Sue's die giveaways, wonder how the comment go now the freebie die's have ended I'm sure they are not going to be 300 evey day.
Sheila, I really hope you have a lovely time away.are you going somewhere nice. Keep warm take some jumpers.
Hope to see Harry tomorrow,we did see him last Sunday for a while,we had dinner at Lisa'a & popped into Darren's on way home. Sam always passes him to me as soon as we get there,he was his usual happy smily Harry, well until he saw Terry & started crying he kept turning his head & every time he saw Terry he cried again he has never done it before he was always smiling.Sam said he did the same with her dad the day before,he see's him a lot more as they only live 10 min away. So hopefully he will grow out of it & smile at grandad again bless.
Have a lovely weekend,& on your break Sheila.

  13. Hi Lynda,
your cough getting better I hope?
Had a good day but at the same time it tired me out so much so went for a lay down this afternoon and of course had to long....
Went to the Range where my son working, not today, and had a few hours looking around plus they had this lady in from 'docraft' but also working for X-cut and she was showing me there new cutting machine. It looks fine but heavy because of the metal rollers, still don't cut well in the middle and a bit out of my price range. Not sure at all but like to have something that is A4 for 'my craft room' one day. I'm still dreaming lol Bought some paper and cards in a colour I'm not used to but thought could go pretty with my new dies lol Thanks for your congrats Lynda. Nice to see some names you recognize but well not enough. Had so wished all of us had got one each, from Sandras caffe at least . So , did you have your cuddle quota today from little Harry ? Did Terry give you anything for Valentine ? Wasn't Steph's husband kind, wonder what he got back lol
Please let me wish Sheila a nice break away, hope she going somewhere warm. It's so cold brrrr! Take care, love to the family
